Good Morning Ladies….
We’ve been “talking” about things you won’t regret…one topic that is not on the list but one that I’d like to add: spending time with loved ones.
On Saturday, my daughter and I went for tea at the Getty Museum along the ocean. It was a lovely day, the sun was shining and the temperature was in the 70’s.
The tea was held in a room above the museum. They served us a beautiful, modern display of scones, sandwiches, and small desserts. The tea was a pine lavender, though you could get an herbal if you desired it.
The conversation was about all sorts of little things we had been thinking of.
After the tea was served and enjoyed they invited us on a tour of the gardens. We learned about the native plants in Italy. We then were able to tour the museum at our leisure.
Bethany asked a man to take our picture and he suggested that his wife do it, since she was a professional photographer. I’m going to attempt to attach it.
Do you spend time with your loved ones? This is something you won’t regret! Ours was an “expensive” way to be together but there are budget friendly ways as well. A trip to the beach for a day in the sun, the mountains for a hike, the park down the street for a picnic etc.
Our world is so very fast paced, we need to slow down and take time to be with our loved ones. “Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.” Romans 12:10
