Snickerdoodle recipe

Good morning!

Today I wanted to share a recipe with you. As moms, sisters, grandmas we sometimes get asked to bring cookies to an event. This is how it was with me recently and I loved the outcome of this recipe. I hope you will enjoy it too!

Soft Snickerdoodles

Ingredients
1 c. butter
1 ½ c. sugar
2 large eggs
2 ¾ c. flour
2 t. cream of tartar
1 t. baking soda
¼ t. salt
3 T. sugar
3 t. cinnamon

Instructions
Mix butter, sugar and eggs in a large bowl. Combine the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt in a bowl and then blend into the butter mixture. Mixing well.
Chill the dough for 15 minutes along with the ungreased cookie sheets. (yes, put your cookie sheets in the refrigerator.)
Meanwhile, mix the sugar and the cinnamon together and turn the oven on to 350*.
Scoop dough and roll into 1” balls. Then roll the balls gently in the sugar mixture. Place them 2” apart on the cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes at 350*
Remove immediately to cookie racks to cool.

Enjoy!
