Titus Two and Tea: Challenges for today

Titus Two and Tea: Challenges for today

Challenges for today

Recently I was given a poem by an older sister who had just recently read Titus Two and Tea. I wanted to share the poem with you:

Some day of days
Some dawning yet to be
I shall be clothed with immortality.
And in that day I shall not greatly care
That Jane spilt candle grease upon the stair.
It will not irk me then as once it did
That someone chipped my teapot lid.
Keep me sweet Lord!
Keep me sweet!

What will be your challenge today to be kept sweet? Most likely it will not be candle wax on the stair or a chipped teapot lid. Will you remain sweet or succumb to the old nature within?
I John 4:4 "You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." How wonderful to know that we have a greater one within that can keep us sweet. When we aren't sweet, this greater one will remind us we have an issue to clear up and will give us the strength to correct it.
May your day be filled with sweetness!
